Brazilian property is in one of the four best locations for those looking to buy a new house, it has been claimed.

Peter Franklin, a delegate at Property Mentor, has highlighted the country as a very attractive location for those looking to invest in overseas property.

He said that, while the country’s price per sq ft is not the lowest in the world, there are numerous schemes that make up for this fact.

Mr Franklin highlights the property development scheme and the fact that this allows people to purchase with low or zero down payments at extremely affordable monthly rates.

"A property investment in Fortaleza, for example, can be bought for £79,298 and be paid over 101 months," he explained.
